O'Brien Family Furnishings is a product of the years of blood, sweat and tears of Sean McElroy. After losing much of his sight due to Juvenile Macular Degeneration, Sean left his career in the food service industry as a chef, and moved onto band saws and CNCs.  They're safer, as only one of us was moving in multiple directions, he figured. After working with foam for a year, he was able to get a company transfer to North Carolina, the home of furniture, and where he wanted to be. Leaving Denver, he recalls saying "You can't do a damn thing from the outskirts. You go the capital, plant your flag, and go to war if you need to." 

Sean believes in harnessing the power of technology to create the best possible product, while simultaneously ensuring craftsmanship in finishing the product to make sure it is a part of your life for years to come. "There are no shortcuts to greatness".
