Community Maker || $30/mo (Application)

The Community Maker level grants 24/7 access to the space and full use of the equipment, but carries additional responsibilities to meet the contribution. This level is intended for students, teachers, veterans, those on a fixed income, or others who may find paying the regular membership fee challenging. This membership level requires a monthly commitment to helping out with an open house, cleaning duties, or volunteering for events.

Currently, we can only support 40 Community Members, and availability is closed. However, we review our capacity each quarter. If you are interested in becoming a Community Member, please fill out this Application.

$30 per month with an initial $5 access card deposit.

Full Member || $54/mo

This is the standard membership level that grants 24/7 access to the space and full use of the equipment. It also grants you full voting rights and the ability to run for office. Please note that every new member must attend a new member orientation before they can access The Forge, and must attend the appropriate safety orientation before they are granted access to specific tools and resources. More information is below.

$54 per month with an initial $5 access card deposit.
Deposits are refunded upon return of access card to The Forge.

New Member Orientation (RSVP HERE)

New member orientations are given twice per week, Tuesdays at 6:30pm, or Saturdays at 11 am. Access cards are given at the end of each orientation. Department orientations are given once or twice a month, and all new members are required to either attend or exhibit proficiency in each section of the Forge before being approved to use the facility. Assessment is provided by a Department Head. Special appointments can be made with Department heads.

Safety Orientations (RSVP HERE)

Safety is the highest priority at The Forge. Second priority is the maintenance of the equipment. Every member must go through our safety and basic use orientations before having access to our resources. These orientations are not exclusive to our membership. If you are curious, you can learn these basics for a small fee.
